Ovens for drying, combustion and gasification
Polow designs and constructs both driers and combustion and gasification ovens. The renowned Torbed® technology is used for the ovens, together with several tailor-made applications Polow developed itself.
Almost all of our oven projects are carried out from start to finish. We bring in conveyor belts or wagons/cars and manipulators to supply and remove the products, and make sure that every oven design meets our client’s needs.
Drying ovens
There are several alternatives when it comes to drying. According to the method of heat transfer, these options are:- Ovens with recirculation air | gas or electric, direct or indirect, possibly using recirculation;
- Ovens with infra-red burners | gas or electric.
We offer a varied selection of oven designs that meets specific needs. Tunnel furnaces or stationary oven-type furnaces are best suited for solids, whereas drying tunnels, toroidal ovens or fluidised bed furnaces are used to dry sludge and slurry.
